Brett Startin, DDS
Dr. Brett Startin is passionate about building lasting patient relationships based on trust, comfort, and genuine care. He enjoys hearing patients’ stories and being part of their journey toward healthier, more confident smiles. Known for his approachable nature, he strives to make each visit feel comfortable and personal, creating a welcoming experience for every patient who walks through the door.
About Dr. Startin
Dr. Startin grew up in the Seattle area and graduated from Kentwood High School in 1997. At 19, he served a two-year LDS mission in Japan, an experience that deepened his appreciation for people and cultures around the world. After returning home, he married his wife, Angie, and began studying biology and biochemistry.
Following dental school, he practiced for two years on the Olympic Peninsula before moving to Spokane in 2011. Angie later earned a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Whitworth University and now operates a successful practice in north Spokane. Together, they enjoy spending time at ballparks, stadiums, and gyms across the country cheering on their three children—Parker, Cole, and Emma.
Education & Training
Dr. Startin earned his Bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The Ohio State University. He joined Northview Family Dental in 2012 and has since served patients throughout eastern Washington and northern Idaho with personalized, high-quality care.
