There are many people around the world who suffer on a daily basis dealing with sensitive teeth. You may take very good care of your teeth; however, you deal with sensitive issues when it comes to hot or cold foods. Sensitivity in your teeth generally comes from the enamel having worn away over time. This will expose the dentin of your tooth and cause sensitivity to a variety of substances. The good news is that there are ways to ease that sensitivity when you are struggling with it. Tips for Easing Pain from Sensitive TeethOne way you can start to ease the pain is find a toothpaste made for sensitive teeth. There are several varieties on the market, so it should be simple to find one that works for you.The key is to continue to use it and not stop after a little bit of relief. How you brush your teeth can also change the problems you are dealing with. Make sure to use a soft bristle brush and to brush for at least two months. Also, make sure that you are not brushing too hard as this can eat away at the enamel. Avoid foods and drinks that are too acidic in nature. Items such as soda, certain wines, and some fruit can cause damage to your teeth. If you do partake in acidic foods, be sure to wait at least 20 minutes after you have consumed them before you brush your teeth.
